Frequently Asked Questions
-
How far in advance should I book a character entertainer?
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks before your event date, but we do our best to accommodate last minute requests when possible.
-
At what point in the party should I have the character entertainer join us?
We usually recommend having your character arrive about 30-60 minutes after your party start time (depending on how promptly your guests generally arrive and if you have a set end time). Another way to set the timing is to decide when you are planning to sing “Happy Birthday” and to back the character’s arrival out from that point in the party.
-
Is there anything I need to have ready for the character entertainer?
If you are hosting a Princess or Storybook Character party, it is helpful to have a chair for the character to sit in for story time and singing. It is also helpful to have a small table and an additional chair available for the face painting activity.
Also, if parking is difficult at your event location, It is very helpful to have a parking spot available for your performer when they arrive so that they do not use up valuable party time trying to find parking.
-
Will the character entertainer only come to my home or can I choose a different event venue?
Our characters are happy to join you at your home, a local park, your community clubhouse or any other location that allows character entertainment.
-
My event location requires all vendors to supply a Certificate of Insurance. Can you supply that?
Yes, we are happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance for your event location. Once we have the necessary information, we can usually have the Certificate ready in 24-72 hours.
-
Is it customary to tip my character entertainer?
The pricing for your party does not include performer gratuity. Tipping is optional, but always appreciated, and is a great way to let your performer know that they helped to create a magical day for you and your guests.
